Is there a Japanese page yet?
I think I can work on that but I don't know how to use a wiki DX

The wiki still needs more content to be a usable resource to the community. At most, the guides (or at least the half of them) needs to be ported over to start considering to replace the actual FAQ. I could port them over but my speciality is templating, not writing good articles.peppy wrote: 115z70
Just bumping this thread: I would like to see the wiki replace the FAQ and other help pages we currently have listed on the site, but would like people's opinions on whether it is mature enough for that to happen. There haven't been many changes recently so it would seem either people have lost interest or it has been fleshed out to the point it is quite a usable resource.
I did the listing (And the used template on it) some time ago. It doesn't hurt to check the history of the templatepeppy wrote: 115z70
Did you just make that listing, or is it somewhere hidden on the wiki?
The page looks good and if the main page here gets updated to look like that, it will (currently) be a sea of red links due to not having enough articles/guides/whatever to fill with. But still someone can try and make a draft of it on its page.GigaClon wrote: l6e26
Ive done a decent bit of wiki work myself. and I will try to do more. the front page should look like the front page of wiki.guildwars.com in of navigation.
A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? See: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Up ... ate_scriptI assume that the wiki still thinks I'm logged in when I'm not (I'm not logged in anymore on the first computer)?

Slightly off-topic but > http://puu.sh/uj3c Is there a way to actually capture in-game fullscreens without it being grey?peppy wrote: 115z70
Depends on the complexity of the screenshot. An easy way to decide is to use puush. It is smart with which mode it chooses (jpg or png) on the windows client, and will automatically decide which is best. You can make puush save locally and then use those to directly to the wiki, too
I found this:peppy wrote: 115z70
I'd like to see a language selection like this. Can someone investigate how this is done and tell me if I need to do anything at my end to make this happen?
You can use {{OL}} in articles which availible in other languages.Yatalu wrote: 635i3t
Is something like this (screenshot from Wikipedia, the one and only)
but requires some (small) time setting up than the former. No, it doesn't. If you don't need all the personalization, you can just ignore all secondary parameters in the template.
The page is now renamed. Maybe an upgrade caused the problem.K2J wrote: 4b6y1v
Request deletion (preferably renaming without the '.', but deletion if not possible) of this page. Presumably it's now throwing up a 403 as it starts with a Unix "hidden file" marker, so I can't even access it to throw up the Deletion template.
Ofc. the x-axis flip. dafuq are you talking about c:RaikireHiuduo wrote: 42460

The Question is, Hard Rock will cause a (Horizontal) x-axis flip or (Vertical) y-axis flip?![]()
Observation of the picture incur me an inference that it was x-axis flip but I am not perfectly sure.
In another question: Do other countries inverse their axis readings?
Vertical flip, by x-axis.RaikireHiuduo wrote: 42460

This is only slightly related, but someone made a japanese translation of the pp diagram: http://puu.sh/1pnsF
I beleive it is not on the wiki yet, but has been sitting on my desktop for a few days now. I figure if I throw it in this thread something may come of it.
My translation into Simplified Chinese ~5 months ago, looks a bit out-dated.peppy wrote: 115z70

Btw, what's the meaning of "+ magic!" in 2? I don't quite get itI assume it's a joke from peppy.![]()
Use the actual links, even if they're obsolete. The purpose of the page is to show the actual response from BanchoBot. If they're modified, then modify them in the wiki.RaikireHiuduo wrote: 42460
Question 1: Should the link directory be preserved (as in tanjinyi's edit) or should it be modified to fit their meaning? (as in current revision)
Example when "!faq scoring" (current issue founded):-
(Actual) BanchoBot: [http://osu-ppy-sh.cinevost.com/?p=faq&n=2&c=7#c7 osu! scoring faq]
(Modified) BanchoBot: [http://osu-ppy-sh.cinevost.com/wiki/Standard#Scoring osu! scoring faq]
In short, copy paste what Banchobot gives or modify it?
Question 2: Is there a difference in of delivery speed and compatibility based on link name?
Like from http://osu-ppy-sh.cinevost.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5456 (Actual bb link) to http://osu-ppy-sh.cinevost.com/forum/t/5456/ (Modified link)

Long question
Okay. I discovered CTRL + V is the miracle command. Working on it.Repflez wrote: 1m4n6f
Copy the commands in the chat and /savelog the replies? Is the only thing I can think to do with them without asking a Chinese.
Someone just edited the !faq list~[Dellirium] wrote: 41463b
Check them in !faq list and delete if don't find a command.RaikireHiuduo wrote: 42460
EDIT: Apparently, commands like "人品" yield "ENTRY NOT FOUND!". There is quite an amount of them.
Transfer it? Y/"Getting Started" or "World of osu!" ?'Getting Started' I guess.

It looks great! The only complaint I have is that it feels like it should automatically (it's kind of jarring that you seem to be on a subsection of the same site, but you suddenly have to all over again for just that section)
About squeezing.. It looks unaccustomed because the font size are the same as in the other parts of the website. I don't really think we should use increased font size only in the wiki, just got accustomed to this.bomber34 wrote: 5l5v66
It does not look bad but it is a bit squeezed compared with the old design
But I guess i get used to it
