Problem Details:
If you choose and play another song before the song that played have ended, and press esc, two songs will play at the same time.
(very good explanation )
with some beatmaps the song will continue to play when you're playing a beatmap and in the main menu

This is a bug with the Latest Cutting-Edge I believe.

As you can see on the video, OP is not in Cutting Edge.

I am able to replicate this in both CE and Stable (Latest).

I can also replicate this. On a side note, when this happens and you use the boss key only one of the songs gets muted.

Edit:

Replication steps: Press the left or right arrow key and press enter immediately after to start a map. At this point the previously selected song will play while it's loading the map from a different song. If you now press escape to return to the song selection both songs will play at the same time. I can't always replicate this though, so it might be something that requires specific timing. You should be able to replicate it after a bunch of tries.
