With the recent launch of the new Last.fm site, many features were disabled and gradually got restored, including authentication of third party apps. With that, I tried to connect with last.fm from my profile, but it was never successful.

Clicking on "connect with last.fm" successfully takes me to the authentication page, but once I allow access, I just get returned to my osu! profile with no changes getting applied.

I am unsure if this is an issue on osu!'s side or on last.fm's side. Tried connecting with other third party apps (like tweekly) and it worked.

Any advice?

Edit: Can return a 404 page on first click but on refreshing, it displays the authentication page.

Given last.fm's current state you might want to give it a few more days to see if the situation changed.
If it hasn't feel free to bump the thread.

Same on my end, It is will in the beta stage still so i wouldn't worry until it is completed fully but it is odd that osu is the only third party site that Last fm won't pick up.

The question is how long? It's not a problem on our end right?

I can't even to their API site to check the status of the osu! application.

he told me that last fm wasnt working and their api was dead linking me to this thread : t/361830

but the api IS working now, and the in osu for auto scroblle still disabled.

im actually asking for feature reenablement for new s, since old s with last.fm can scrobble normally (it seems so)

I've merged your thread to this post.

Existing connected last.fm s work, but new connections still don't work, and this is not something we can solve without last.fm. It'll remain disabled untill something can actually be done to fix the issue.

You'll have to replace the ### in localCheck with your own unique value, which can be obtained by right clicking the Add as Friend button on someone's profile and copying the link. Be careful NOT to share this value with others, as they could use it to perform certain actions on your without your permission.
