Okay i know this might sound stupid but EVERYTIME,, I get a better score than my previous score my rank would always go down even though everything in the overall thingy is green except for rank,, Im not sure why it does that or maybe osu rank is a bit broken? I did someone said that osu rank is hella broken so idk,.,.

If you mean when you and do your first play, yea it happens. I think your rank updates daily when inactive, so when you do play a song it needs to update your rank after playing instead of daily. Hence, you can get a better play but your pp will go down because it's updating the fact other ppl got pp while you were offline, therefore it must bring your rank down.

When it comes to later in the day, I'm pretty sure I've also seen myself get a play on a song then see my rank go down -1 because the play was simply insignificant compared to all my other top plays. Tho I've also seen it go up +1 when I do a play that's not good at all, so I'm not sure.

2 reasons from what ive seen

1) you after like a little while after the score then your global rank updates
2) acc or score is not same as pp so it could be freaky like that
