i can pretty easily S rank [16]s and have like 40 ish [16] S ranks but then i only have 6 [17] S ranks and like 15 A ranks and have very few [18] A ranks. i feel like im running out of maps i can practice on, since qqwiwi2012 maps are mostly brackets and too hard while _icerain charts i struggle on because of spike part which ruins alot of S ranks for me sometimes even at middle of song my acc drops like 2%. i genuinely try to play more stuff but like its hard since im really bad with difficulty spikes which i know im bad at because i progress well in stamina charts as theyre consistent

ive not seen 1 person better than me that isnt able to play 7k at that same level or 4k so their ffingers can go brr brr manip or somehow the 4k fingers teach the ring fingers how to be fast.

if anyone has ways to fix this then let me know, i dont wanna do 7k since from what ive seen 7k charting is boring from what ive seen

1. 4k fingers don't teach ring fingers how to go brr.
2. Etterna has some 6k maps iirc
3. "if you can't farm pp make pp yourself" - Jakads (just switch the pp)
4. Use rates, convert maps, find a way, trying to find a way around so easily sounds really like a skill issue. Search for keys=6 in the search bar and go on, always worked when i wanted to play 6k and i never ran out of maps to play (use ht and dt to increase the map options too).
5. If you think it would be easy to just switch from 6k to 7k like that then you probably already play 7k at a close level anyway.
6. You are not that deep into the game to classify 7k mania maps as boring since you can't play 2/3 of them, might be skill issue too.

2) ill look for some, i tried before but was detered as the pack i found was chord long jack spam but not in a good way where its justafiable just outta nowhere
3) idk how to make a pp farm map amd ive probably played too many map packs for too long to make something thats ranked because i find map packs fun and ranked stuff only fun as every once in a while i can increase my global rank by a few thousand with like 5 scores
4) rates make difficulty calculation in numbers wonk, and ive already ed the map pack level where new patterns arent really introduced anymore just faster variations
5) idkkk i can do 6 stars in 6k but can barely do 4 stars in 7k. reason i say i can is because im only teaching 1 finger and rest is 6k. the thumbs literally use differt tendons from everything else so quite literally its 1 finger and a minor adjustment to reading
6) "from what ive seen". it was just rolls, very few maps that arent rolls, and its very boring. iirc you said it stops at 5 star so hopefully. i think i can A a 5 star 7k purely because i nearly did it like 3 months ago and now its 3 mknths later from 3 months ago

When they put in parenthesis "(just switch the pp)", they mean switch the word. They're saying if there is a skill you're struggling at that you can't find suitable maps for, make it yourself.

So in other words, you can play 7k better than the average player, forget the "close level" part. Not that it really matters, play 7k if you think you will enjoy and/or benefit from it.

Honestly, I would just put some 5* 7K maps on auto to see if it stops being rolls or streams or whatever. You make that call yourself. And yes, it is 3 months later from 3 months ago, that's how time works.
