So i played like 150 hours with only pressing X and mouse button 1 on streams and things like that.
I just switched to alternating from z to x and I would like some maps that might be good for this. I am like a new player now because of this and I think i need to play a little more to get back to the performance I had before.

Just start with extremely basic rhythms. Nothing more complex than 1/2 jump maps, if you aren't super comfortable on that yet. Then move on to triples etc.

For alternating practice I like Monstrata maps because you need more coordination to hit his type of patterns than just regular stream or jump maps.

I switched to mania along the way and after a little grinding on it, I switched back to STD. Then I realized that I was unconsciously alternating. Like it was the norm for me.

Don't really know if this'll help for you but if you like mania, give it a try.

Gradual transition work the best. Start slow from simple three note zxz/xzx, and then play more alt maps, and before you know it, you've alternate everything!
