ahhhhhhh my ahh hitting skillwall and uhhhhh sad

anyways while i know i asked for advice before this is slightly different as i want you all opinions on getting SSs and also how to go about it. getting like so many SSs would be fire as fuck and also wouls be good for my inprovement if i start SSing map pack charts since if i start SSing ill have consistency and like better MA and like better PA and like maybe ill fix my physical inability to full combo a song since im S ranking stuff thats roughly like 6.5 or 6.6 difficulty in star rating when convert from difficulty map pack number but i only FCed a 4.5 star and got 1 miss on a 5.2 chordjack

if i do SS, do i start out with 1 star songs and then i do 2 star songs and then i do 3 star songs and then i do 4 star songs and then i do 5 star songs amd then i do map pack [14]s (you domt meed to unferstand the numbers) and then map pack [15]s (you dont meed to understand the numbers) and then 99% [16]s and then pray that fixes my skill wall? ill do if will help but idk

For SS-ing maybe for your skill level you can start from 2* and then attempt 3*, also FC-ing 4* will def help

Shorter maps tend to be easier to SS/FC. Same with maps that got a simple rhythm and/or pattern.

Also, what u mean a physical inability to FC a song? I'm confused.

idk if its attention but i just cant fc a song at best 1 miss. like idk why but i cant im bad at full combo

Probably more of a mental thing than a consistency issue, although its both. I know that happens to me sometimes. I'd be doing well, holding good acc or combo. I notice it, and then my brain auto-corrects it by making a few mistakes.


I getting less random misses on the moderate/hard maps after I worked on my consistency & acc a bit

"hitting skillwall" but 4/5 of your top plays are in the past 24 hours lol, i think you'll be fine. SS'ing stuff is fun, though you won't see as dramatic of an improvement raising your skillfloor as opposed to raising your skillceiling. If you wanna work on your accuracy though, I recommend just playing songs you know you can and seeing how much you can clean up your acc/ratio

yes 4/5 of my top plays are within 24 hours but thats because i rarely every play ranked, usually every few months after i gain some skill i play stuff and also me decidinf that "if i can S rank [17]s, i can SURELY do some 6 stars..." and yes thats true. i was talking about overall with th3 universally agreed difficulty rating system for 6k

6k players dont measure skill in star rating or top pp play or global rank, we measure shit in the universaly agreed upon difficulty rating system

Start where you fins it comfortable and just do it, no secret. About fcs, since you are a 6k player iirc then fcing things higher than 5 stars are going to be hard, you should focus more on just grind skill and eventually it becomes natural.
