I am trying to move to lazer and whenever I drop a slider end there is no sound, I want to change that and I searched but probably using the wrong keywords because there is no way nobody has had that issue so I'm probably missing something obvious.
It really tilts me, when I drop a single slider end because of the missing hitsound, my instincts get confused and I drop a shit ton of acc. please help me

Check if the skin you're using have a silent "slidertickmiss" and "sliderendmiss" hitsounds

my skin has no such files at all

The classic mod specifically has an option for this so I assume that's just how lazer does it. I don't having an issue with the missing hitsounds but then again I have been using lazer for years at this point. Might be something you just have to get used to

yeah Ill probably just play more lazer and get used to it, just switched a few hours ago and uhh I have to say rate adjust is incredible

The "Always play a slider's tail sample" setting on classic mod is designed explicitly to address your need here.
