i dont really have motivation to play rn, mania feels sorta fun but a bit like a chore aswell. im not really motivated because i got a skill boost and then my improvement slown down and i dont wanna sightread a fuckton of 6k map packs just to be able to play [16]s. right now id say im barely [16] level but i have some S ranks and quite a few A ranks on [17]s. only on stamina am i [17] and speed is [16] but everything else is prob [15]. if i should take a break, how long?

edit: i just gotta clarify how bad my improvement is, i cant beat scores from a fucking week ago, A WEEK AGO bro

taking a break for a lil bit is good if you're feelin a lil bit burnt out. Somewhere between 1-7 days is good.

As you get good, improvement tends to slow down (it doesn't stop), kinda like strength/muscle gains in the gym. It doesn't mean you aint improving. It just means it takes a lil longer and you gotta measure progress in a more long-term fashion. e.g. measure improvement on a fortnightly or monthly basis

MONTHLY BRO???? i was seeing progress daily before bro (aside from that one skill wall) like even in 5 star level my acc would increase by like 1% every day on alot of different charts. i think ill take a break and return with a ffocus on getting 97% on [15]s as it seems like developing speed by getting an A rank sightread and just playing the song every session until S rank stopped working
