It's been since 2021 since the only joke is the anime girl randomly sneezing on stable. On lazer, which I use, there was nothing special for April 1st, the daily challenge was your average 5.9 stars DnB map, nothing special... And as far as I know, there wasn't a joke made by the official team outside of osu!...

Other rhythms games I play such as Arcaea or Geometry Dash did something special and funny for April 1st this year (2025), and even in osu!, there was creative april fools in the past, such as the osu! coins (2015):



The article I've linked at the beginning of this post hasn't even been updated since 2022, probably because there's only the girl sneezing btw...

Why are the april fools jokes nearly gone nowdays in osu!? The girl sneezing is easy to miss, it's almost nothing and seriously, it's been the same for 5 years and there's nothing on lazer...

The devs. If they actually wanted something for April Fools, they would have likely done that.

Perhaps they don't have any ideas on what to do, or maybe there's too much to do on lazer

they aren't THAT similar, right?

1. Furry.
2. Almost the same shade of purple.
3. The capital letters in the middle are kinda similar.

It looks similar at a glance you can't deny...
