nice and thick pen
(might just be me) tablet itself is pretty small so if u have big hands you might need a lower area or just brute force aiming in some parts (bottom right)
pen buttons might need to be taken out since when pressed while aiming the cursor bugs out

Railgun_
- Good Tablet for beginners.
- Said hardware smoothing is unnoticeable, can be exterminated by Filters in OTD (OpenTabletDriver).
- Pen is nice to hold, but can be annoying to hold, as pen buttons cause interference to input when pressed.

My first tablet. I didn't go for the popular ones as I also had another focus in drawing. Back then, I didn't have drivers installed and I don't know if there are any for it now. I couldn't set an area so I played full area/windowed mode. The tablet is really big and if your hands tend to sweat you will need a specific glove.

This was my first tablet ever. The pen was kind of fat and heavy. Also, it had significant smoothing (input delay) built in. I've heard the XP-Pen G640 is basically it just better, also at a reasonable pricepoint. Overall, not awful, but I wouldn't recommend it. 4/10

I switched to this after my Veikk. It was a very noticeable improvement, I preferred the pen and it felt smoother and had less smoothing (ok that sounds stupid). Nothing bad to say except for the fact that after a few years my first CTH-480 slowly stopped working. The cursor would shake a lot and the hover distance became greatly reduced. There were other extremely odd things (such as the fact that the shake of the cursor would increase with use of the tablet, and then decrease again as it "rested") that I won't get into detail about. Ok, I had made a small chip in it and it had endured a decent amount of use. I figured it was just the tablet. However, I got 2 more and they both did the same thing. I scoured the web, asked around on several forums and considered a plethora of things, from the drivers to electromagnetic interference to a problem with my own computer. I never found a solution. Honestly not sure what that was about. I'll have to give it a 7/10 for that, but I've never heard of someone having the same problem as me

Wacom CTL-4100 here, really love this tablet, pretty much the same as the 472 but I mainly love it cause of the slightly different pen and the buttons which make the tablet more convenient to me.

TLDR; Same as the 472 but bigger and added buttons

My current tablet. Feels no different from the CTH-480 to me, but it's a bit smaller. I preferred the larger size of the CTH-480, as it gave my hand somewhere to rest that was at the same elevation as the tip of the pen. But, that's not a very significant difference and the thing still works, which I can't say for the CTH-480. 8/10

Playing with this tablet just feels so smooth. You may see every bit of movement, including your nervousness but it really speaks for it being so responsive. I actually got back into playing osu! mainly because of how much fun I have playing with this tablet.

* I've used the Wacom Intuos S since I started playing. It's reliable, pen is very comfortable (you could always get a grip for it since Amazon has a bunch), and it's pretty sturdy. It's perfect for left-handed players like me since the express keys are at the top of the tablet instead of on the side!

* I bought it for 50 bucks on Amazon and it also comes with software (2 years of clip studio paint pro, corel aftershot, 6 month trial for kami, and a few others)
* I'd disable the pen buttons in WacomCenter as they can get in the way of playing.
* They usually last about 3 years give or take. I've dropped mine a few times and they work perfectly fine. I'd recommend buying pen nibs alongside the tablet since the original package only comes with 3, which is inside the pen. They wear very easily and fast.
* I don't know anything about hardware smoothing, though.

bought it for cheap (around 25 eur or so) when i was new in 2019 and surprisingly still works smoothly despite constant usage
pen is a bit thicker than what you might be used to, can also be kinda slippery with clammy hands but it's no different from average pen i think
dragging sucks cuz it leaves scratches on the surface and wears down the pen tip really easily, my tablet area has been glistering for several years as a result
resolution is kinda noticeably low especially for smaller areas, like i can notice the cursor snapping to grid with a 4xsomething cm 16:9 area, though i think if you intend to only use it to play game casually it really isn't that big of an issue

probably one of the better budget options for people looking to try playing osu with tablet i guess? though i haven't really tried much tablets out there so /shrug
oh right also good practice to just disable the buttons cuz if u have them enabled and accidentally press a button + try to move while hovering it just... doesn't

This tablet is a good purchase. It does look a bit cheap but who cares. It's a bit on the smaller size but it works just fine. I definitely set some top plays with it. I would always recommend this one if you are on a budget!

It's big enough for most people.

You could add [x], as in [0] or [4] after each tablet to show people if there are any reviews without them having to expand the entries.

Also, jaaakb's idea of adding a counter of the reviews of each tablet is a good one.

Could you add a note on my CTL-472 review that says to refer to my CTH-480 review for the comments I made about that tablet within the 472 review?

I'm concerned LMAO... this is that one memey board because it's quite literally too big for most people, especially for osu!...

Yep, it seems like that's the correct tablet identifier, the product name seems right but is probably harder to identify since it sounds a little bit vague - so let's stick to the identifier instead of product names...
