Problem details:
I copied my old Osu files from 2022 and probably the old name/ with it. After that when I opened Osu I had a problem g in, because the circle that is loading my profile keeps constantly spinning, but isn't singing me in and it also keeps saying: Connection failed. Will keep retrying. It's also most likely not a network issue since it's opening pages on my google chrome pretty quickly and I tested my internet speed and it was fine.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
Can you switch to cutting edge and then find and locate the "network.log" file. It can be found wherever your osu! installation is at inside the osu! folder -> Logs. Once found can you then paste it into here or through a file sharing service

I've already done all that, I just need to know which one of the files I need to paste here or if it's all of them.
the "network.log" one

I don't have the network.log file...

Go ahead and attach/paste the "runtime.log" in here, it might give us an indication of what might be going on.

Have you messed with your network settings at all recently? With your .NET framework settings at all?

Did you disable TLS 1.2 in your .NET Framework install or something? I've seen this error before but it does not really make any sense why this occurs.

Perhaps you can try ing the most up-to-date .NET Framework (also not the SDK, the actual runtime): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us//details.aspx?id=48130

I haven't, also it wouldn't make sense that is the issue when I got the issue right after I copy pasted an older version of Osu onto my new one, though I'm not an expert so I can't really say for sure.

I just tried installing Net Framework, here's what happend:
Alrighty, well that sounds good. At least it doesn't appear to be a .net framework issue.

Can you try ing the osu!.exe from home/ and running it ONTOP of the current installation, this should manually update your osu! (as your current osu! is showing 2007-2022 and not 2025... which is the expected year).

You don't have to worry about songs and such like that, but if you want you can make a copy of them before doing so it wont hurt.

Update it worked without removing my files at all. Had backup just in case. Thank you for helping me.
