Don't force yourself to play.
I say you should play a variety of 4* maps casually. The more you play those maps, the more you'll get accustomed to that difficulty. And lo and behold you'll have your fc eventually.

Or you could start playing very low 4* (ie:4.00*) and try fc-ing from there. (If you are the type of person to commit)

I’ve been trying to fc hitomi ni kakusareta omoi but I keep on getting 92 ac and I slowly get worse from there and the other 4 star maps I miss 6 times not getting a fc how do I improve this I want to commit to fc but I get worse

The issue is likely because you're memorizing the map instead of fully, consciously and actively reading it every time. If something goes wrong and you memorize it "badly", you'll permanently struggle to play whatever you memorized wrong.

FC'ing a map is much tougher than it seems! So first of all, don't feel like you always have to FC in the first place!

One way you can tell the likelihood of FC is both with more accuracy and less miss counts overtime.To improve your accuracy to the point of around 97% on a map and more, is in my opinion consistent enough for FC attempt. So before you even need to FC, you have to really understand how the map goes until you're consistent enough with it.

And with each FC attempt, go really easy with yourself. Set an attempt limit so that you don't get into bad habit of retry-spamming due to frustation. You can always come back FC after perhaps your reading is better or your aiming is more precise than you start with!

you absolutely need to nail the basics before you move on to higher difficulty... pattern recognition and reading are valuable skills and slower maps are the way to train those two skills, train until it feels natural (let me know if it worked)

I’ve seen all of the reply’s it seems I need to learn how to read and pattern recognition first I know how to train pattern recognition but I don’t know how to improve my reading besides play more does anyone know tips on how to read better?
