Really nice and simplistic drawing, feels like a surreal manga world. I love the colors, too. 10/10

I don't even know what it is
an idyllic view through lightweight lace curtains into a plain backyard, during a calm early morning when shadows are faintly tinted blue. you are probably staring outside from a grey-carpeted room and you may be breathing a sharply cool breeze of air circulated through a gently-whirring ceiling fan or air-conditioning unit, just below room temperature and gratifyingly dazzling-- your indistinctly semi-tangible imagined skin shudders, tingles, buzzing and tensing and feeling every present moment in a way you never could before

its an incredibly quiet place. empty, somewhat lonely, and yet eternally iconic in its perfect mundanity. you feel like you should absorb this experiential vignette with every physiological sense you have and commit it to accessible memory forever. if only you could, if only you would, if only

you hear gentle suburban ambience through the window.

then you hear the cooing of a mourning dove.

time gently es with a crisp clacky tick somewhere nearby.

wood furniture. whites and greys and browns. not too modern, not too rustic.

you feel like the world outside your field of vision is a blank white fog, like it disappears when you're not paying attention. and you rarely pay attention. a dizzyingly cold world with scrambled imprints of things you don't understand

you could let yourself die just viewing this mirage for the rest of your lack of a life as an indistinct body rots with utter abandon...

I enjoyed the background story
6.7 / 10.0

not a lot of conventionally aesthetic qualities, but still strangely quaint. it reminds me of the late 2000s

a time when graphic design was an ironic ion. kitbashed clipart assets and default text and yet made with a subjective kind of care

there exists a certain kind of humor and whimsy throughout

i adore whimsy, often times

of course, some kinds over others
