Problem details:
It can often low to about 120 which makes me feels not smooth at all.
This happens in the whole process when playing beatmaps,
and when pressing F2 in songselect page (it's okay in comparison cause it's rolling).
And the playfield one will neither happen on windowed mode nor fullscreen mode.
But I really need the borderless mode and can't forever use fullscreen & windowed
It is worth mentioning that if OBS is running in the background (Even if it just runs and does nothing), the FPS will be stable.

I've tried to use every frame limiters but the problem isn't solved.

Video and logs showing the problem:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QIHdpw5k6Ghbed24kuDfyiFVCbSA-P?usp=sharing

Informations if needed (I'm not sure):
Renderer: Multithreaded
Frame limiter: Basically unlimited
Use hardware acceleration: Yes
My monitor's refresh rate: 165Hz
My GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop

osu! version: 2025.424.0-lazer
I will assume you're currently using Direct3D11. Can you try the OpenGL renderer in settings?

Ah I wrote the wrong renderer in the original post Sorry about that
Yes it's Direct3D11 and it works if I changed to OpenGL Thanks

But I have questions: When should I try to change renderer and what's different of them?
I thought it could automatically choose the best one for me
Direct3D11 is preferred on Windows because it's what the Windows option is. Direct3D11 is configured to avoid screen tearing if not playing fullscreen, which may have effects similar to vsync (albeit it can run at a multiple of the screen's framerate rather than fixed to it). OpenGL is not able to avoid screen tearing unless completely vsync, so it will push frames faster but may tear.

Which you prefer is completely situational. We cannot choose this for the .
