Literally discovered a whole genre that I started to love and it was metal. Before playing Osu I actually completely hated that genre but now It's one of the things that I can't stop listening to.

Osu is how I found Mori Calliope. I was searching for skins, found one with some nice aesthetics that had her name on it, then googled who "Mori Calloipe" was, thinking she was from an anime I hadn't heard of. Then I found "失礼しますが、RIP♡" and "Kamouflage" on Osu and was instantly hooked.

Yorushika - Bakudanma

I've played these maps in a long time ago—around when I was still new to osu and I fell in love with them. Years later I ended up forgetting about the two maps I mentioned. However, I stumbled upon this map that my friend sent to me: Yorushika - Bakudanma. It was such a long time since I've listened to it and I was so surprised that it was the same two-piece band I've been listening to lately that created it. Eventually my friend figured out from n-buna's (he is the composer of the band) older works that he also made Toumei Elegy which was super surprising for the both of us XD. I'm really glad I discovered these songs thanks to osu, because I've found my most favourite j-rock two-piece band.

I.F. (beatmapsets/2060223#osu/4749446) by Release Hallucination. Easily became my new favorite song, and I later discovered Chronostasis by the same artist which is just as great.
