idk if i should make it easier for less experienced players or focus on roughly the skill level i am at now (its 6k so diff numbers, [14] - [17] and maybe some [18]s if i improve a bit). from what ive seen theres many charts with difficulty from diff spikes but my charts are pretty consistent difficulty wise which could be helpful for those between [14] and [17] get better because consistent density and get better as palying difficuly spike based maps arent the best for improvement

also the pack will be pretty big and ill just work on it when i feel like, i dont wanna make many many individual packs but instead a huge ass pack people can

pack in question
As a mania noobie I think that would be a good idea

ehhh but its 6k so you prob wont play it
If you wanna do lower diffs, then go ahead. There'll always be players who benefit from it. Otherwise, if it something u ain't motivated to do then don't bother.

if youre gonna then firstly my advice copy paste link advice link ill always give lol secondly use _icerain 6k map packs on like [5] or [6] difficulty to start out. do note it will take quite a while to play anything in my pack if i dont add nerfed versions of current charts since [14] difficulty, lowest available difficulty, is around 5 star level because [14]s are roughly barely 5 star. 5.01 star gameplay:

That's some good advice here! Most of the points you mentioned can be applied to standard as well so it's perfect. The only problem I have when playing 6k is my non-existent muscle memory with my ring fingers. I just keep pressing with my middle fingers instead when there are too much notes on the screen, but I will work on that because it's just repetition until I get it right

Also I'm learning piano rn so maybe mania will finally be easier!
must be piano tiles because that is not the same ..

when starting out in 6k i sightread 6k as 1+4+1k (focus on the 4k in the middle and read the ring ffinger lanes like scratch lanes) and i sorta just did that until i didnt have to
