Why does it as a .zip? And upon extracting nothing happens.

Likely some files are missing in the .zip file in Google Drive.
Try ing in MediaFire - the icon below Google Drive. Those files are available over there.

Have you tried to change the .zip format to .osk?

You're most likely ing the whole folder instead of the individual file

i love both the mania and std skin but for some reason in mania i don't have a judgment icon. I've tried editing the skin to see if it was there but i couldn't find anything. in the screenshots i see one, so i don't know why it won't show up. other than that both skins are great

Well, the main purpose of this skin is 100% just for experimental purposes, so in some aspects it may not be enjoyable.
