osu! needs more long-ass marathons.

Anything that's around 2 to 4 mins is great to me. However, if I feel like playing longer maps, I'd look into 6 mins and longer maps. I don't consider 5 minutes to be anywhere near being Marathon.

I chose 0 seconds to 2 minutes (first 3 options) and 6 minutes to 30 minutes or more (last 3 options). I like quick plays most of the time when I want to just speed play through the maps (which is one of the reasons I use DT a lot), but if I want to spend hours playing osu!, I would go for a long marathon and put my stamina to the test. Anything in between is meh to me. It's not too long nor too short, such that you'd expect to choke eventually and give sh*ts about it.

I prefer playing songs around 1-3 minutes, because I'm used to it from Bemani and it's short enough that trying again and again for a clear or better score doesn't feel quite as tedious.

Long maps are best maps.

For me it's
below 30s: I wouldn't even call that a map
30s - 1m: songs that are hard (eg +DTHR) but are only for a short duration and are therefore easily quickly repeatable (try-hard songs)
1m - 3m: IDK, not for me
3m - 4m: normal songs (nomod FC)
4m - 8m: relax songs (without fast jumps or fast streams)
above 8m: marathons which I think should be created with map-chaining

I know map-chaining feature has been requested a long time ago and still hasn't been implemented, but IIRC also hasn't been denied.
I think 10m+ is too much for just one song and map-chaining would solve the need for marathons perfectly.

Duration doesn't matter as long as it's a PP farm map.

I like to play Map compilations thats why i picked 10min+ , also i like to play 1-4min maps with DT or nomod ( forgot to X 3-4min :c )

i just can keep up until 10 minutes long. still not that stronk

Depending on my mood , I'll either prefer 1-2 minute maps or 4 - 6+ minute maps.

Anythings from 2 to 3 minutes that easy and contain much PP can be played ^^

Anyway, 2 to 3 minutes for less than 5* maps. Anything over 5* I couldn't care less since I can't play them.

Sorry to bump, trying to get more involved with forums....Anyways..

I have always like beatmaps around 2 min mostly because that is the majority of the maps that I own. I not super good at stamina maps so shorts maps like these I always seem to enjoy.

I'd prefer maps somewhere from 2-4 minutes as something good to play. I dunno. maps around 30s - 2m can sometimes be nice to play, but it kinda depends.

As for mapping, I try to map something short. I might do joke maps around 30s - 1m, or if I really plan on putting in effort, something around 2-4 mins is fine.

Im working on some songs but I dont know what maps to dedicate time to. Looking at this I might try to finish the lengthier ones so I guess this poll kinda helped.

it kind of depends, but usually anime eds and ops in tv size are my favourites. but it depends, when it's a song i really enjoy then i try to search a complete beatmap

I'm fine with long songs but anything beyond 10 minutes is hell for me.

I can't play long maps, except some songs that I really like and play for enjoyment.

1 to 2 minutes is my favorite length. Most of the beatmaps I play are that long.

Mine is between 1-4 minutes but I'll try to play fewer tv sized maps so I'll focus on consistency

I like maps to have their whole songs included, not just a cut ver. or TV size, so generally around 3-5 minutes

Between 5-10 minutes if the song is long enough. Longer than that and I start to get tired just watching the replay, let alone playing the map.

If a map lasts longer than 2 minutes, that's good enough for me! I'm the kind of person who prefers to play short maps but I'm trying to change that because otherwise it will be complicated for later.
