I seeing him about a year ago or so But I only saw Lights around a few months back.

So if you consider the time when they officially became denizens then yes, Lights would be the senpai here, but if you look at the time in which they were active then Winnyrace would be the senpai.
He was just wasn't active enough to be considered to be a denizen then.

I think you're right, besides sam and AH[...]H, I know practically no one of the 7th that came before me; and I'm quite sure the people that got denizenship after me barely saw them active too. In fact, apart from sam and AH-----, the other three were already quite inactive when I entered OT. And sam and A(Hx14) got their denizenship way before I did.

There were 6 months without a new denizen until puzzle got his, after that, 6 denizens were added in the span of only three months. I got my denizenship shortly after. So, I would suggest to divide the 7th gen. Starting the 8th with puzzle and his strange cyphers.

Also yea, I feel there might be need to split up the gens. Hard to say tho, cause gens are loosely split based on OT governance, meta, and who knows who. To put it in perspective, if gen 7 needs splitting then so does gen 4 because the first 1/4 of denizens in gen 4 loosely fit with the last third (and I haven't done so because I associate with the last third despite me first being there with first 1/4. This is why I don't count very first posts as part of "first coming to OT")
