Time constraints and setting up an insane amount of matches because there's two separate key modes makes it difficult to coordinate.

Anyway, interested to see how it folds out.

If you check out the statistics of each player from the major countries you'll realise that all four countries that you've listed stand little to no chance to a couple of others. Don't base it off past year's results because there has been significant rule changes compared to last year. There's also many StepMania players who are dominating the 4K scene in multiple areas.

Anyway, I have a question about drawings, there will be seeds or random drawings like last year? If there will be seeds, then how countries will be sorted? because you cant sort players skill lvl by pp mainly because 75% of mania pp is from 7k and it has nothing to do with 4k (USA players or Staiain or a lot of 4k solo players better than most of players in top50 lol)

probably random. Sorting players by their osu play data is impossible

It will be stupid as hell, just imagine malaysia korea usa japan in one group, 2 of best teams will be eliminated on the beginning of WC.

Let me figure out who signed up first and what teams we actually have. Then we can figure out a proper way to seed them, not dumbingly doing this by pp, as pp considers 4k, 7k, converts and whatever else

I think this will be revealed when the teams are 100% decided. Right now I think captains still has not been selected. Probably we will have to wait until this sunday at least, to know the countries that participates

We updated the wiki page and published all rosters just now!

Drawings will be held this Sunday, 16th August 2015 at 14:00 UTC+0. After that, we will show off the Group Stage mappool. Tomorrow, we will sort the teams into their respective seedings and release the result on the wiki page.

Let's face it, korea has no chance of winning this year.

USA vs Japan is inevitable.

Team Stepmania shall prevail.
