Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce osu! WP to you all

It has been available on windows phone store for 1 month, and is free after v1.4

There are many special features for the windows phone version, like background music player, live tile , quick link from music hub.
You can sync your osz files with skydrive or directly beatmaps in the App.

We 5 mods (soon will be 6), two-finger , beatmap skin and hit vibrate in game.
It has an online service too, but not different leaderboard for different beatmap. You can chat with other players and share your score to facebook or twitter.

Not background video and storyboard now.
For windows phone 7.5/7.8 or windows phone 8, but not 256mb device (like lumia 610).

I to this site by name and trying to use my 's associated email address doesn't work. The WP app allows logging in by email but not name. Since logging in by email doesn't work for me, I can't associate my existing with my app this way. Is there some other way to do it?

im glad that osu finally came to the windows phone but so many problems are included making it impossible to enjoy. i have noticed to MAJOR problems
1. the first problem is not being able to to my i have been trying to to my for three days i even changed my to see if that was the problem. yet and still i cannot on my windows phone.
2. all OSU! players know that to enjoy the game you must songs. there are soo many people that are ing song but there is nothing there.

From the Screenshot alone, I saw the HP bar background is upside down (max HP should be on the curved tip). I wonder if this is intended...

you need to know, you can not share the osu! to osu!WP.
The Online service is powered by another website, so you need to creat a new one.

you need to know, you can not share the osu! to osu!WP.

If you can not songs, try skydrive to transfer

Very nice going on my Lumia.
But the song had some problem, I can search songs but always failed because of my internet connection sucks.
It would be nice if you provide link-based song so I can it from my PC which is running a http server.

It the normal one, but I have lots of osu songs and too lazy to because my internet sucks. So setting up a http server on my local network will do the trick if WPOsu! adds custom link. We can even make a mirror server and directly from there instead (reducing the load for osu server).

Which is right offset? -40 probably wrong, audio sync is wrong also sliderball is lagging...

there is a way to import beatmap offline, but only work in wp7+jailbreak/crack device
is lumia 720 a wp8 device? if yes, i can't help you. if no, you can check the wiki(chinese version) , it wrote a path where the osz files copy to.
(sorry for i can't translate it, because i'm using a mobile phone...)

Just a question, is it normal to have some parts of the beatmap missing?
Also, the "10" combo number doesn't appear well, you only see "0"
And won't the new default skin be lighter for the phone?

When is finished you can ,
go to "Get songs>scroll to Skydrive>click "">accept app permision"
now click on beatmap name

Try to send email from app (options -> help)

Osu!WP Is good but when i dowload a map the Game crash
i need use SkyDrive

Another thing that I dislike is that the sliders don't become transparent. Any way you could do that?

This game looks pretty good, but also a bit raw on WP.
I use Lumia 520.
So, sometimes it don't want to save (or to display) my high-scores, sometimes game stuck. Sometimes crashes. Also sometimes when I'm trying to tap on song, another one opens.
So many bugs.

But in 2.0 ver...
My phone is lumia 920.
1) Crushes after song ends. Always.
2) Phone is rly hot after 2-3 songs, and than crushes in middle of 4-5 song cause of it, i think. In 1.6 it was good. And battery drops from 100 to 0 in 20-30 mins, i think its cause of that problem too.
3) Small points to click - i rly cant hit them all by my finger. especially in hard and insane =(

Osu! is a great rhythm game not only at PC also at the phone. ^^

But compare the version 2.0 with 1.6 for my phone, a few problem appear...

For me, i wan to add few more point,
1st.) since last time the game require us to sync the osu file on the onedrive before input to the apps... so actually i store many song in my onedrive there, but the problem appear after update, the function of input the song for onedrive is useless ... since when clicking the icon,it only directed me to search(from web). different from the patch 1.6 which can directly input the song after sign in. Its still fine until i try to song from my onedrive there, the song input cant play totally.. even title exist after restart the apps, clicking that particular title will only making the apps jam totally.
2nd.) the spinners is very hard to spin == turn many rounds also like nt functionable ( simply say hard to clear).

Hopefully these problem canovercome. Then with the new and wonderfull UI, the game is more wonderful.

yeah me too. having lags problem and the score lags ( the game is freeze for some reason )

already put osu on my SD-Card > Store > SD-Card > Cant find

Same here, my phone is Lumia 520 too :C

I am on Lumia 1020. I can't find my OSZ files too! I tried looking and waiting for the SD Card to load and even local files. I went as far as re-installing the app. Damn 2.0 update. I should have not updated my OSU. BTW, even OneDrive isn't working on OSU anymore.

For some reason I'm having an issue too exporting my OSZ files from my computer through my Lumia 1020. I don't have an SD card slot so I understand that SD would be blank but Local didn't show anything. I dragged the files on every folder on my phone and OSU isn't reading it.



If I'll choose OneDrive it reroutes me to the search options...





I do hope that they can turn the interface back to the previous version wherein the circles are a bit bigger and the spinner bigger. I just hoped they just added the "Export from computer" instead of lingering to any other settings. I have updated to v2.1 and no difference at all. Sad OSU player is sad

Thanks for the tip! I have messaged the game developer and I got lucky with his suggestion on how to import songs to OSU. Here's what the developer have suggested to me when it comes to importing and yes. It worked for my Lumia 1020 Yay!!!



When it comes to the notes or circles being too small, he then answered that as well on a different email. He also assured me about the spinner issue which will come with the next update.



I hope these would help other people too when it comes to importing songs to OSU on Windows Phone and I do hope that the update will soon be applied.

You can try what I did on my Nokia Lumia 1020. Note that the pink strips on the screenshots below are just placed just to hide some of my PC/Phones personal information.

• 
  1, your OSZ Files (AKA Osu Songs) and make a folder named "Osu Songs" (without the quotes) in your computer. It should look like this.

  2, Copy the "Osu Songs" folder in your device. I copied my "Osu Songs" folder to my "Saved Pictures" on my Lumia 1020.

  3, Open the "Pocket File Manager" app and navigate through your device. Once you're in the "Osu Songs" folder that you have pasted from your computer to your Windows phone then all you need to do is to tap the songs then OSUwp should open it automatically.

NOTE :
The steps may vary as some Windows Phone has some SD Slot capabilities.

The OSZ Files that you will be moving into your phone should have NO videos in it. You can remove the videos on the OSZ files by opening the OSZ file using WinRar and deleting the video file in it.

If this didn't work then try re-installing the OSUwp App.

OMG. I was able to get the same error LOL!!! I think OSUwp can't load some specific OSZ files. However, the same OSZ file that I'm having issues loading on my Lumia 1020 is working on my computer's OSU. What I found is that it's happening if the OSZ file is containing an OGG file extension instead of MP3.

Nvm, I compressed as .rar and not .zip

I have just run into an actual problem... most of my beatmaps from my SD are not showing up in Osu WP. (only 50/183 appear)
Is there a limit to how many beatmaps I can have on my phone?

I believe this latest update happened to screw up the beat sync of my ed beatmaps. Maybe the game have this auto sync feature instead which doesn't help at all. Doesn't matter what number of offset you put, its hardly noticeable on the adjustment you made. Also, I don't really like this bar offset adjustment, why can't it have an additional button to increase/decrease by one point so I can input exact number I want? Played this on Lumia520 btw.
