Come on, you can do it. ~ Just an Easy, Normal, and Hard of 4.74 or less (rounding to 4.5 on the song select screen). You already know how to make Easy difficulties - just increase the spacing a bit, reduce the overlapping ugliness, don't do those 1/2 sliders, and voila. Make a Normal like that (maybe neater, though), make a reasonable Hard, and... bam!

EDIT: Heck, you don't even have to increase the spacing. Can you pretty please make one of the easy Easy difficulties, please? *insert puppy dog eyes here*

in and mapping Caramelldansen - I think we should aim for songs that many people will like to encourage them in multiplayer etc.

I think my X - Tunnel Scene beatmap follows most of the things on the easier difficulties (although it has a Insane instead for a Hard.... :( )
I try to make the easier difficulties actually easy :P and i will this series in the future :)

@Behonkiss: Oh, goodie, this is right up your alley, then. :D I'm mainly looking for recent maps, because of the lack of recent maps with Easy difficulties that are either A. actually Easy or B. actually somewhat entertaining.

Xgor: I did in fact look at it, and that's a bit what I'm looking for. In that case I would treat the Easy as having halved the BPM without actually halving the BPM, so that would be fine. Reminded me of Makes No Difference. Might be able to sneak it in there, actually, since you correctly labeled the Insane.

One thing i noticed is that shorer maps get more stars then longer maps, and i think sometimes that some easy 5 star maps should be accepted.(although this is only a suggestion)

Great. Let me start a list of "included Ranked maps" and "maps in Pending".

EDIT: Also changed guidelines. Basically 4.5 star Hard, can have an Insane instead, and don't be retarded. Easy is also trimmed down.

This is easy. But maybe TOO easy... It's too uber easy in such a way that insane doesn't even reach 4 stars (that's supposed to be Normal-Hard-Insane, but Ouendan-styled screws diffs. up :P) Jumps are a bit evident on Insane though

How many beatmaps will it be in every pack? (Nevermind i saw it now :o )
Anyway my current maps don't fit this series to well but i will try to make my next map for for this series.
Also it's good if we don't have too much of one genre in the series!

It looks like the only anime song that'll be in the first pack will be Itsudemo Issho ni (Reset's from a video game). Nice variety so far, so I don't think it'll be an issue.

The first pack should be up soon after Itsudemo Issho ni gets ranked, which should be soon.

I knew what he meant, it's just that I knew it rounded to 4.6 stars technically, but I always clearly meant menu stars, so I just didn't want to bother.

I'll edit the post after dinner, if someone wants to the first pack after I put the listings up (after dinner), that would be nice.

I'd like to offer a map for this, if I may. It's got an Easy that's appropriate for first time players, and Normal and Hard are designed to help get people accustomed to 3/4 time between notes.

N*Sync's It's Gonna Be Me has a fun Easy map (except for the spinners, but I can get past them). I don't care that much for the hard map, but Easy and Normal are quite good.

Any help on Give a Reason (here) would be appreciated, as it's sort of stagnating at the moment. In particular, I haven't gotten much on the Hard difficulty.

The main problem with all (Yes all) your maps that you posted is that they have a hard that rounds to 5 stars D:
And that is one of the guidelines.....

Anyway, i nominate Westlife - Fool Again.
It has a Easy with 0.28 (!?) stars and a hard with 3.78 (It also has a Normal so it's follows the guidelines very well)

I have also made a map that i maybe will submit soon with 1,3 and 4,5 stars :D (Although people will hate me due to that it is a anime opening. :| But the Easy Series don't have much of that so i guess it's ok :P It has a bit to much Okami though....) Note that it's not done 100% yet and i maybe don't finish it...

Well.... a Ekaru haven't organized this for a while I'll take over for now :P

Anyway i checked out the maps that DJPop posted that fitted the guildlines and i think that Cagayake! GIRLS (TV Size) would fit pretty good (Even if Normal has 4,5 stars)

Skillet - Yours To Hold is also ranked and it was posted as a suggestion in this tread so i guess i can add that too (Even if it lacks a easy :| )

That would make 6 ranked maps in this pack so far and i guess that My Sweet Heart and Odin Sphere's Theme would hopefully be ranked somewhere in the future sooooo... that makes this up to 8 maps and that is enough for a pack for me ;)

Oh and My Sweet Heart is my new Easy Series map

Well, this was the first sumbitted ranked map for Easy Series 2 so i felt like I should added that in as the intro map :P
Easy and Normal are easy to follow and pretty fun and Hard is a bit of an jump training.

Imogen Heap - Half Life

Well another pretty slow map that is very easy.
Rest and Safe is yet again easy to follow and Hectic isn't too hard, it has some slowdowns that can be a bit tricky I guess.

Easy sucks not one of my better difficulites but Normal (That's almost more like and easy) and Hard is excellent.
Hard is pretty diverse and has some simple jumps.

It's pretty easy to follow and doesn't so it's pretty good for players that have a hard time to follow the beats on the harder difficulites

Probably the only map I suggested after I modded it that came in the series..
Easy is a very good beginner map and Normal is pretty good too.
Hard and Heroic can be quite tricky (Mainly the Speed up part) but I think it trains newcomers for tricky things like this.


Tanaka Rie - Ningyo Hime

Well, I asked my best friend (That doesn't play) what i should map and she showed me this.
Next time we met I let her test the beatmap (on Easy) and she beated it on the first try and she liked it.
Easy is very easy for begginers and Normal isn't too hard too while Hard is one of the Harder diffiulites in this pack (Although that isn't much)


(Boss)Cagayake! GIRLS (TV Size)

The most well known map in this pack.
This is a pretty fun although it's harder (And faster) than most maps in this pack.
Easy isn't that hard and Normal and Hard shouldn't be too hard either as long as you can keep up with the speed.
And if you can beat Insane.... then you're way too good for the Easy Series :P

(Bonus)Mariko Nanba - Pirates' Island

While all the other maps here was nominated by the mappers them self this one a map I picked myself because I like this map and it fitted to the easy series. (And have gotten way to little attention)
The storyboard is like Don't Stop Me Now and that's make it very distinct from the other maps in here.
The difficulites is not too hard to follow although they are a bit harder then the most others of the maps here.

Well, in the future I will cooperate with the BTP with making these so it won't take as long between the packs like this time.

Probably the only map I suggested after I modded it that came in the series..
Easy is a very good beginner map and Normal is pretty good too.
Hard and Heroic can be quite tricky (Mainly the Speed up part) but I think it trains newcomers for tricky things like this.

Well, I asked my best friend (That doesn't play) what i should map and she showed me this.
Next time we met I let her test the beatmap (on Easy) and she beated it on the first try and she liked it.
Easy is very easy for begginers and Normal isn't too hard too while Hard is one of the Harder diffiulites in this pack (Although that isn't much)

The most well known map in this pack.
This is a pretty fun although it's harder (And faster) than most maps in this pack.
Easy isn't that hard and Normal and Hard shouldn't be too hard either as long as you can keep up with the speed.
And if you can beat Insane.... then you're way too good for the Easy Series :P

(Bonus)Mariko Nanba - Pirates' Island

While all the other maps here was nominated by the mappers them self this one a map I picked myself because I like this map and it fitted to the easy series. (And have gotten way to little attention)
The storyboard is like Don't Stop Me Now and that's make it very distinct from the other maps in here.
The difficulites is not too hard to follow although they are a bit harder then the most others of the maps here.

Well, in the future I will cooperate with the BTP with making these so it won't take as long between the packs like this time.

My Caramelldansen map is probably one of my most balanced mapsets. It's a popular song and I think it would make a good addition to the pack.
