OT Court - Looking for volunteers 242h34

Since Asht. Co failed to cease operations and even went as far as to move toward production, the lawsuit is officially going to proceed.

Prior to the actual court, the OT Royal Society is searching for volunteers among the denizens to assist in this event. The following is a list of existing positions and the ones that need to be filled in (bolded):

  • Plaintiff - Royal OT Scientist abraker
    The one who sues

    Prosecutor - tad01123
    Upholds abraker's case

    Defendant - Ashton
    The one who is being sued against

    Defendant's Attorney - B1rd sippingashton
    Upholds Ashton's case

    bailiff - Penguin
    Keeps peace in the court

    Judge - Aiseca
    Self explanatory

    Clerk - ???
    Makes sure everything runs smoothly

    Court Reporter - Vuelo Eluko
    Reports summaries of what went on

    The Jury - Everyone else

I will be standing as one of the Jury. I can be the Judge, however, I would not like Ashton think that the trial would be unfair against him.
I will try to listen to the defendant's explanation at least to see whether he holds his balls or not.

Since I can't be part of the jury because I'm racist, I could be the bailiff. I have plenty of experience in public safety.

That looks cool. I'll need to look into whether I can run my own server, otherwise not sure how that will work.

Before I put significant effort in organizing the event and getting the thing to work, I need to be sure everyone is fine with the event taking place at a certain time. I can almost guarantee that either most of you don't want to or timing won't work out, but surprise me if you can.

Rather than doing an "event", it may simply be more expedient to have the court in a thread. That would allow everyone plenty of time and follow along with the spirit of the forum.

i think i'd prefer the idea of a forum thread dedicated to it, but i don't believe i'd have many complaints either way.
